Invisalign appliances straighten your teeth using a series of clear, custom-made, removable aligners. These aligners are almost invisible so hardly anyone will know you are receiving treatment.

Invisalign uses advanced 3D CAD-CAM technology to precisely make aligners from smooth, comfortable plastic, especially for you. You’ll wear each aligner for about two weeks approximately 20-22 hours a day and gradually move your teeth towards their desired position. Based on your individual situation, your treatment can be as quick as 6 months.
You can wear your aligners during the day, and take them out to eat, brush, and floss your teeth as normal. You can also remove the aligners for social occasions. But most of the time, because Invisalign is truly almost invisible, no one will know you’re having orthodontic treatment.

Not only are the aligners invisible, they are removable, so you can eat and drink what you want while in treatment. Plus, brushing and flossing are no problem. The aligners are also comfortable, with no metal to cause mouth abrasions during treatment.
No metal and wires usually means you spend less time in your doctor’s office getting adjustments. Invisalign also allows you to view your own virtual treatment plan when you start, so you can see how your straight teeth will look when your treatment is complete.
You wear each set of aligners for about two weeks, and remove them only to eat, drink, brush, and floss. As you replace each aligner with the next in the series, your teeth will move — little by little, week by week — until they have straightened to the final position Dr. Fermanis has prescribed.
You’ll visit our practice about once every six weeks to ensure your treatment is progressing as planned. Total treatment time typically lasts nine to 15 months, and the number of aligners worn during treatment is between 18 and 30, but both numbers will vary from case to case.
